About the project: Did you ever notice how light wraps itself around a rounded corner? How a rounded corner adds a sense of softness to an object, no matter how rock hard the material of which it is made? To me a rounded corner shows effort, attention and a process of deliberate choice making – because isn’t it easier to make straight corners? The often unexpected appearance of a rounded corner can therefore soothe my soul with a sigh of admiration, which moved me into bringing this body of work to life. An ode to all the curved that caught my eye.
Specs & status: In the summer of ’25 I embarked on the journey of visual exploration, by the end of the year the I felt ready to start collecting all corners of the rounded type.
