Project description
There’s a place I really love. An architectural masterpiece for which I cherish all sorts of feelings and a fascination that runs really, really deep. I can even catch myself longing for it’s shapes and shadows, for it’s magnificence and mystery.
On a random day in 2024, while strolling that place I really love, I found the auditory personification of that place I really love – or did it find me? A moment where sensory input aligned, hair stood up and tears rolled down.
The actual song that touched my soul right there at the spot and at the end of the DJ set I’d been listening to, turned out to be a layered 11 minute track. Needless to say I lost count on the amount of hours the track, the place and I have spent together ever since. A gift that keeps on giving, a discovery I’ll cherish and admire for as long as I will be.
Since I’ll soon be relocating, way too far from that place I really love, I decided to give it a try and capture it, or at least a very fraction of it. A snippet to keep with me wherever I go, for when I catch myself longing for it’s shapes and shadows, it’s magnificence and mystery.
